Studying Misconceptions

Check out the following paper that describes a result of the Bioliteracy Project at CU.  Like chemistry students having difficulty with chemistry because they’ve not mastered proportional thinking, Klymkowsky and Garvin-Doxas suggest that difficulties developing an appreciation and understanding of the nature of random processes lies at the foundation of many biological misconceptions.
