Red Hills Spring Field Trip June 7-9!

You might remember Kelley Tuel’s inspiring post way back in January…Birds, Bats, Botany, Burgers, Red HIlls, Stan Roth, etc.  Well, the end of the school year is rapidly approaching and it’s time for all good biology teachers to congregate in one of the most unique regions of Kansas for the opportunity of a lifetime!  Stan Roth will once again lead KABT through caves, across prairies, down dusty roads in search of amazing flora and fauna.  We’re privileged to have access to part of the Merrill Ranch so plan to arrive Friday late afternoon to set up a primitive camp.  This means BYO water, food, fellow biology teachers, T.P., little shovels, and children if you have them.  We’ll explore all day Saturday and head home Sunday.  For more detailed information see Kelley’s January post.

Please reply here or on Facebook asap if you plan to attend so we can get a rough estimate of our group size and we’ll forward the location directions to you.  This is a fantastic opportunity to hob knob with your colleagues, learn something new, have a pile of fun in the great outdoors, and come home with unbelievable stories to tell!  Don’t miss it!
